Traveler Interim Fix from IBM solved the problem

After I've created the PMR I got the following interim fix from IBM:

FIX VERSION: 8.5.3.1
FIX BUILD LEVEL: 20111220_1028

PREREQUISITES

Lotus Notes Traveler version 8.5.3.1 already installed.

FIX LIST:

- LO65244 - Specific Repeating event does not pass filter and not synced to device.
- LO65298 - Security delete fails for users which cannot be located.
- LO65473 - Imported Holidays show on wrong days on some Nokia S^3 devices.
- LO65425 - Synch fails going to extended ascii mail servers
- LO65400 - New or reset users are missing old emails Traveler device
- LO65149 - Some Wav files are not downloaded to device
- LO65060 - Event missing from Nokia device calendar
- LO65705 - Device not able to sync when user names is not normalized
- LO65718 - Traveler Monitor stays on backup mail server
- LO65348 - Truncated multiple folder names or hidden folders on device
- LO65947 - Performance Improvements for Large Mail files
- LO66047 - Workaround for Apple misidentified GB2312 data.
- LO66170 - Phone Message ReturnReceipt sent when doc synched to dev

We've installed the fix and all calendar entries are synced correctly
